Milk Cocktail

Nick hated latching on (and so did mommy), so we switched to bottles. Here is and example of how we felt before the switch when they tried to make us use a syringe to get enough milk....ridiculous
"Get that away from me."

I have been pumping 3 times a day and then we supplement with formula. Nick has been taking feedings so much better and the whole family is much happier.  Just don't tell those nasty lactation consultants at the hospital.

Breastfeeding just isn't for everyone.

    Those lactation consultants are nasty! I actually complained to my OB about it. She said they want people to take breastfeeding seriously and you to know that it is a commitment. I said I want them to know that I am not an idiot who will starve my baby and I wish they wouldn't make me cry! Nick is happy. You are happy. End of story. :)

    Just wait until you go have baby #2. They could care less what you do. They would just peek in the door and say "hows it going". We were pretty much on our own!
