Update on the ticker

A couple posts back, I mentioned that the pediatrician thought she heard a heart murmur and referred him to a cardiologist. Today we went to the cardiologist to get an ekg.  Nicky was really good and the tech was impressed by how still he was for being so little. He just laid there sucking on his pacifier and watching the ultrasound screen even though he had all these stickers and wires attached to him.  He definitely took it better than momma.  We got the results right away.  The doctor said he does have a small hole in his heart.  He said it is completely normal for his age and 83% of children have the hole close on its own.  Nicky's hole already looks like it will close so he sent him home with a clean bill of health.  He said he will have no restrictions and can continue normally.  Great news!
