Santa!

Nicky got to visit Santa last weekend.  I don't do malls at Christmas time.  It's like voluntarily walking into a Chuck E. Cheese.  It's just not going to happen.  We found out that our local garden center was having Santa visit on the weekends.  To make it better, you were allowed to take your own pictures with Santa and didn't have to buy them.

We knew it may be risky and we could have gotten a terrible santa. We couldn't be more wrong.  Santa was perfect, there was a beautiful background, no line, a professional photography studio and not some lady dressed like an elf making minimum wage and taking a poloroid.  Nick was a champ and had a great experience.  He did decide to take a dump in his diaper right before he climbed onto Santa's lap, but did I mention we were 3 minutes from the house? No big deal.  These are all from Nick's phone and the actual photograph we received is from my phone.

Merry Christmas 2011

 After being awesome and showing those crying kids how big boys take pictures, we treated Nicky to his first happy meal of chicken nuggets,  apples, and apple juice.

The absolute best part

 He took that juice box like it was the best thing ever.  He was really getting it and learned that a nice combo of squeezing the box and sucking the straw works perfectly.  He threw a fit when I took it away.
It was a great day with a great Santa experience.  Shout out to Petitis and your fabulous Santa.  We will be back next year for sure!
